Colin Black

 

Colin Black describes his work as mixed-media landscapes primarily using collage and oil paint. His work is theme-based, the most recent being ‘Piers & Jetties', inspired by the man-made structures that extend out from our coastal waters.

Colin studied at Chelsea School of Art and The Royal College of Art and has had solo and group shows in Scotland and England. He lives in York combining his artistic practice with teaching, lecturing and mentoring under the name of Seek Art School.
