Chris Mouncey

Chris Mouncey was born in Felixstowe, Suffolk and was brought up in Billingham.  He now lives in Weardale, County Durham with his wife Val who is also a painter.  He has painted watercolours as a profession since 1980, specialising in landscape, seascape and architecture.  Many of his works are in private collections in this country and abroad. In his work, he explores the effects of light and weather on the landscape and finds watercolour to be the perfect medium for this.
