FAQs

Shipping

For works on paper, shipping and packaging within the UK is £15 and is sent via a tracked and signed next day service. Please make sure you provide us with an address where there will be someone to accept delivery.

For small to medium framed works and medium ceramics, shipping and packaging within the UK is £30.

For larger framed works, we will contact you after your purchase to arrange the most cost effective and safe way to deliver your piece. Feel free to call the gallery on 01845 522479 and we can give you a number of options for delivery or collection.

If you buy more than one work, your works will be packaged and sent together at the same price as one work.

We will send the work between 1-2 working days, but please contact us if you wish us to send the work on a specific day.

Packaging

Where possible, we will try to flat pack your artwork to prevent curling. If your artwork is large we will send it in a tube. We recommend removing works that are sent in a tube as soon as possible to prevent curling.

Returns

Once you have received your artwork, you have 14 days to return it to us for a full refund. Please return it in its original condition and packaging. If your work has been damaged during transit then please contact us.

Framing

If your artwork has a deckled edge (it's jagged), we would recommend floating the work in a box frame. Choose mounts that are similar colours to the paper. Thin, sharp frames give artworks a more modern feel. Norman Ackroyd prints look great in a stained brown frame. If you would like any further framing advice please contact us at the gallery.

Hanging

We always advise to hang artworks at eye level - so the centre of the work is at an average eye level. People often hang artworks too high. If you have a piece of furniture in front of the artwork then make sure there is enough breathing space between it and the artwork.
