Katharine Holmes is the third generation of painters to live and work from the family house near Malham Cove.
She has travelled and exhibited widely and has been awarded residencies or painted in Japan, Greece, Kenya, New England, Italy and throughout the British Isles.
She paints predominately in situ and her work can include found materials or even be affected by weather conditions.
